Facebook/Meta Data Deletion

In accordance with Meta (Facebook) Platform rules and applicable privacy laws, Purely Mushroom provides an easy way to request deletion of any personal data we store that’s associated with your Facebook/Meta account.

How to request deletion

  1. Remove our app from your Facebook settings (recommended):
    1. Open Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
    2. Find Purely Mushroom (or the app you used with our store) and click Remove.

    This notifies Meta to revoke our access. If we store any related data, follow step 2 so we can delete it on our side.

  2. Send us a deletion request:

    Email hello@purelymushroom.com with the subject “Facebook Data Deletion Request” and include your Facebook email or User ID so we can locate your records.

What we delete
  • Identifiers you provided via a Facebook/Meta login or integration (e.g., email, profile ID).
  • App-specific tokens/permissions granted to our store/app.
  • Event data we stored that can be linked to your Facebook/Meta identity.

Note: We may retain information required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes (e.g., tax records), which we segregate from active systems and minimize to the extent permitted by law.
